911 SIGNS
Recent comments from fire company personnel have prompted this reminder about 911 signs. These signs are important to identify your home in case of emergency, be it ambulance, fire or police. Also, the old lot signs must be taken down. Your lot number will always be your lot number, but the new 911 number will also be your address if you receive mail here, and having both numbers displayed creates confusion for emergency personnel. Also, the new 911 sign should be displayed so as to be easily seen on a dark rainy or snowy night; perhaps on a tree or stake out near the road if the house is located further back from the road. If you have not been notified of your 911 number, come into the office and we will give you the information to obtain the number from the county.
