Youth Group Officers

The first meeting of the Indian Rocks Youth Group was held September 11, 2004. There were 16 members in attendance. Mary Griffin, Ruth DiPalma and Melissa Tolan were the adult sponsors for the evening events. The night began with a game of football and bocce out on the lawn. We then held a short meeting to discuss the purpose of our group and elect officers. We will elect new officers every 6 months. Our president is Andrew Skelton, Secretary Nicole Bobe and Treasurer Amy Cone. After the meeting we played games and enjoyed snacks donated by some of our parents and pizza sold to us at a discount from Greentown Grille. A little excitement was added to our evening by a visit from Bernie the Bat who stayed in the corner by the fireplace all evening and politely left us at the closing of the evenings activities. We would like to thank everyone who made the evening possible and everyone who helped clean up. Our next meeting will be held October 9, 2004 at 7:00 PM
