We are a four-season community right next to Lake Wallenpaupack. We have 1,383 lots within the community, with approximately 920 property owners, and 476 homes. We are located in Salem Township, Wayne County, and in the Western Wayne School District.

Boat Out Date
The boats out date for the Indian Rocks docks is October 14, 2024.
We do advise you to monitor your slip to be sure there is an adequate water level for your boat.

Request for Candidates and Notice of Election
The Indian Rocks POA has two (2) open seats in 2025 for the Board of Directors. All candidates for the Indian Rocks Property Owners Association Board of Directors shall be members in good standing with the Association for a term of not less than two (2) years and have not received any violations that are upheld by the Association within twelve (12) months prior to September 25, 2024, when candidate resumes are due. If you wish to run for an open seat, you must complete a Board application and submit a resume of no more than two (2) pages to the Board of Directors through the office, to be received by 4:00 pm on September 25, 2024.
Candidates shall not be permitted to campaign, including no door-to-door, and no written or oral communications initiated by the candidate, or their agent. No communication initiated by the candidate, using the internet or any website will be permitted, except at a possible “Meet the Candidate Event” sponsored by Indian Rocks Property Owners Association. No campaign signs or mailings shall be permitted.
Any community member wishing to contact a candidate may do so by emailing or calling the candidate at the phone number or email provided on his or her resume.
The election process for the Board of Directors will be supervised and conducted by a judge and tellers of election (a committee of property owners appointed by the Board in accordance with Article VIII, section 4 of the Association By-Laws).
Ballots will be mailed to eligible property owners on or before October 25th and must be returned by November 14th. The tellers of election will tally the votes on November 15th and will present the results to the Board at the regularly scheduled November 16th meeting.
Any violations of the Indian Rocks POA Election policy shall include, but are not limited to, the cancellation of any and all votes cast for that candidate.

CPR Class
On Friday, September 20, 2024, we will be offering a CPR class at 6:00 pm at the clubhouse. This class is offered for Indian Rocks residents only and there is no fee. Our maximum is 15 people and you must sign up prior to the class. Please contact the Indian Rocks office if you would like to sign up for the CPR class.
Free Firewood
There is firewood piled behind the mail pavilion from trees that Indian Rocks had taken down. If you need firewood, please help yourself.
Beach Area Docks
We are experiencing lighting issues at the beach area boat docks. The electrician and PPL are working to coordinate a date for the repairs. Until this is complete, there is limited lighting at the beach area docks. Please bring a flashlight and use caution when using the docks at night.
Veteran's Park
Indian Rocks Paver Program
The Veteran's Park is located next to the community gym to honor those who served. Our first two orders of bricks have been installed at the Veteran's Park. If you would like to dedicate a brick for a Veteran, please fill out the form below and submit it to the office with your payment. Brick order will be placed when we receive orders for at least 10 bricks.

Parking Notice
Starting May 1, any vehicle illegally parked at a community amenity will be towed at the vehicle owner's expense.
Dog Registry
Indian Rocks is starting a voluntary dog registry for the sole purpose of returning dogs to their owners. If you would like to add your dog to the registry, please email [email protected] or deliver to the office, a picture of your dog, the dog's name, your name, address, and phone number. If we find a loose dog we will check the registry to see if we can locate the owner quickly.
911 Address Signs and Trash Cans
As a reminder:
- A 911 address sign on your property is required. The sign must be a minimum size of 4 1/2 inches high x 8 inches long, and a minimum number size of 3 1/4 inches high. Dark numbers on a white background, or white numbers on a dark background are acceptable. Sign must be placed as close to eye level as possible, and in a location that is highly visible from the road.
- Trash cans must be removed from the side of the road within 24 hours of pickup.
Clubhouse Rentals
The Indian Rocks clubhouse is available for property owners to rent for a fee of $200. If you are interested in renting the clubhouse, please contact the office to see if the date is available. The form below will need to be filled out and submitted to the office with the rental fee.

Indian Rocks Gym & Clubhouse
The Indian Rocks gym is located in the building beside the clubhouse. If you would like to obtain a key card for the gym, they are available at the Indian Rocks office. Two keys per property owner are free and you will need to sign a release and a gym rules acknowledgement (below). This key will also allow you to enter the clubhouse which has a pool table, ping pong table, Foosball table and TV's available for your use. If you would like a key, please stop at the office. Additional keys for your household or replacement keys are $10.00 each.

Board Mailbox
A Board mailbox has been installed in the entrance of the Indian Rocks office for confidential communication with the Board of Directors. The mailbox can only be opened by a Board member and will be checked regularly.
3% Credit Card Fee
Please be advised that effective immediately, there will be a 3% fee for all credit card payments.
Public Safety
To contact Public Safety after hours, please call the office number 570-689-7582. All office calls are forwarded to the Public Safety phone when the office is closed.
Classified and Paid Advertising
The classified section is free for Indian Rocks property owners. Advertising for businesses will be sold by the business card or half page size. Business cards will be $50.00 for 6 months and half page will be $100 for 6 months.

Indian Rocks Recycling Program
Recycling is available to all property owners.The single stream recycling bin is located behind the maintenance building and is open on Sundays from 8 am - 12 pm.
