We are a four-season community right next to Lake Wallenpaupack. We have 1,383 lots within the community, with approximately 920 property owners, and 490 homes. We are located in Salem Township, Wayne County, and in the Western Wayne School District.
Our community has 24 hour public safety, a central water system, and amenities such as a pool, tennis & pickle ball courts, beaches on Lake Wallenpaupack, a playground, and more. If you are looking for a full or part-time residence where you can be close to nature, you have found us!

Request for Candidates and Notice of Election
The Indian Rocks POA has two (2) open seats in 2027 for the Board of Directors. All candidates for the Indian Rocks Property Owners Association Board of Directors shall be members in good standing with the Association for a term of not less than two (2) years and have not received any violations that are upheld by the Association within twelve (12) months prior to September 25, 2026, when candidate resumes are due. If you wish to run for an open seat, you must complete a Board application and submit a resume of no more than two (2) pages to the Board of Directors through the office, to be received by 4:00 pm on September 25, 2026.
Candidates shall not be permitted to campaign, including no door-to-door, and no written or oral communications initiated by the candidate, or their agent. No communication initiated by the candidate, using the internet or any website will be permitted, except at a possible “Meet the Candidate Event” sponsored by Indian Rocks Property Owners Association. No campaign signs or mailings shall be permitted.
Any community member wishing to contact a candidate may do so by emailing or calling the candidate at the phone number or email provided on his or her resume.
The election process for the Board of Directors will be supervised and conducted by a judge and tellers of election (a committee of property owners appointed by the Board in accordance with Article VIII, section 4 of the Association By-Laws).
Ballots will be mailed to eligible property owners on or before October 25, 2026, and must be returned by November 19, 2026. The tellers of election will tally the votes on November 20, 2026, and will present the results to the Board at the regularly scheduled November 21, 2026, meeting.
Any violations of the Indian Rocks POA Election policy shall include, but are not limited to, the cancellation of any and all votes cast for that candidate.

Please remember you must have a 2026 green wristbands for each person entering the pool. Daily passes will be available at the pool if you do not have enough wristbands for all in your party.

Proposed Changes
The first reading for the proposed changes to the ACC Rules and Regulations were completed at the May 16, 2026 Board meeting. Fundraising Committee
Indian Rocks has a newly formed Fundraising Committee that will be dedicated to planning and executing events aimed at having fun, as well as generating funds to offset expenses. We are currently looking for members of the community to volunteer to serve on this committee. Leash Law
With the warmer weather upon us and more of our residents outdoors, we wanted to remind everyone that all dogs must be leashed when off your deeded property and have a current dog license displayed.

PLEON Lake Water Presentation
On 8/23/26, PLEON (Pocono Lake Ecological Observatory) gave a presentation at the clubhouse and spoke about the Lake Wallenpaupack water quality. Walkway/Stairs to Dock K Closed
Due to a fallen tree and extensive repairs needed, the walkway/stairs from Ledgedale Road to Dock K will be closed until further notice.
Feeding the Deer Prohibited
Feeding the deer within Indian Rocks is prohibited and violators will be fined $50.00 per occurrence.

Parking Notice
Just a reminder that any vehicle illegally parked at a community amenity will be towed at the vehicle owner's expense.
Pet Registry
Indian Rocks is starting a voluntary pet registry for the sole purpose of returning pets to their owners. If you would like to add your pet to the registry, please email [email protected] or deliver to the office, a picture of your pet, the pet's name, your name, address, and phone number. If we find a loose pet we will check the registry to see if we can locate the owner quickly.
911 Address Signs and Trash Cans
As a reminder:
- A 911 address sign on your property is required. The sign must be a minimum size of 4 1/2 inches high x 8 inches long, and a minimum number size of 3 1/4 inches high. Dark numbers on a white background, or white numbers on a dark background are acceptable. Sign must be placed as close to eye level as possible, and in a location that is highly visible from the road.
- Trash cans must be removed from the side of the road within 24 hours of pickup.
Clubhouse Rentals
The Indian Rocks clubhouse is available for property owners to rent for a fee of $200. If you are interested in renting the clubhouse, please contact the office to see if the date is available. The form below will need to be filled out and submitted to the office with the rental fee.

Indian Rocks Gym & Clubhouse
The Indian Rocks gym is located in the building beside the clubhouse. If you would like to obtain a key card for the gym, they are available at the Indian Rocks office. Two keys per property owner are free and you will need to sign a release and a gym rules acknowledgement (below). This key will also allow you to enter the clubhouse which has a pool table, ping pong table, Foosball table and TV's available for your use. If you would like a key, please stop at the office. Additional keys for your household or replacement keys are $10.00 each.

Board Mailbox
A Board mailbox has been installed in the entrance of the Indian Rocks office for confidential communication with the Board of Directors. The mailbox can only be opened by a Board member and will be checked regularly.
3.5% Credit Card Fee
Please be advised that effective 1/01/26 there will be a 3.5% fee for all credit card payments.
Public Safety
To contact Public Safety after hours, please call the office number 570-689-7582. All office calls are forwarded to the Public Safety phone when the office is closed.
Classified and Paid Advertising
The classified section is free for Indian Rocks property owners. Advertising for businesses will be sold by the business card or half page size. Business cards will be $50.00 for 6 months and half page will be $100 for 6 months.
