Welcome to Indian Rocks   

We are a four-season community right next to Lake Wallenpaupack. We have 1,383 lots within the community, with approximately 920 property owners, and 470 homes. We are located in Salem Township, Wayne County, and in the Western Wayne School District.

Our community has 24 hour public safety, a central water system, and amenities such as a pool, tennis courts, beaches on Lake Wallenpaupack, a playground, and more. If you are looking for a full or part-time residence where you can be close to nature, you have found us!

Littering

We have noticed an increase in trash on the roads throughout the community and wanted to remind everyone of our rule regarding littering.
LITTERING: Dumping trash or yard debris on common lands of Indian Rocks or on other property owners land without permission is subject to a fine per the current year’s fines and fees schedule.

Fines will be issued to anyone found littering in Indian Rocks. 


Committee Volunteers Needed

If you would like to serve on an Indian Rocks Committee, please send an email to irpoa@indianrocks.com to let us know.  We are currently looking for volunteers for the following committees:

Social Event Committee
Architectural Control Committee
Grievance Committee
Safety Committee


Veteran's Park

Your dedicated bricks have been installed just in time for Veteran's Day.  Stop by the Indian Rocks Veteran's park located next to the gym to see all of the bricks that were purchased to honor our Veteran's.

DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS

Due to the recent growth of the wildlife population in Indian Rocks we ask that you please follow Pennsylvania Game Commission guidelines and DO NOT FEED THE WILDLIFE. 

Leaf Cleanup

Over the next few weeks, the maintenance staff will be clearing the leaves from the Indian Rocks roads and swales (ditches) throughout the community to ensure proper drainage.  When doing the yearly leaf clean up on your property, please be sure to keep all leaves out of the swales. 



As a  reminder, no motorized vehicles are permitted at the pond area. 
Due to the road condition by the Deerfoot Rd fire gate, it will be closed until further notice.


Indian Rocks Office  is Open

Indian Rocks Office is Open
All CDC guidelines must be followed. 
Masks are required for entry and must remain on when in the office.  Only one person at a time will be allowed in the office.  Six foot safe distancing guidelines will be in place while waiting to enter office.
The office closes for lunch from 12:00 - 12:30 pm Tuesday - Friday.

Community Emergency Operations

The Business Manager has implemented a stringent work policy which follows COVID 19, Operations and Safety Guidelines, using a risk assessment tool provided by the state.

The Board of Directors is asking the public to practice social distancing to help properly mitigate the risk in the workers assigned work areas.

Please continue to watch for important weekly updates via the web and the community bulletin board.

The Business Manager and the Staff will continue to strike a balance between the provisions of service, health and safety for all the community residents.

Indian Rocks Paver Program

We are implementing a program to honor our Veteran's at the newly dedicated park, located within our community.  The Veteran's Park is located next to the community gym.  Our first order of bricks has been installed at the Veteran's Park.  If you would like to dedicate a brick for a Veteran, please fill out the form below and submit it to the office with your payment. Brick order will be placed when we receive orders for at least 10 bricks.

Public Safety

To contact Public Safety after hours, please call the office number 570-689-7582.  All office calls are forwarded to the Public Safety phone when the office is closed.

Classified and Paid Advertising

The classified section is free for Indian Rocks property owners.  Advertising for businesses will be sold by the business card or half page size.  Business cards will be $50.00 for 6 months and half page will be $100 for 6 months.  

If you are interested in submitting something for the classified section, please email your entry to irpoa@indianrocks.com.  If you would like to advertise or have any questions, please call the office at 570-689-7582.


Trash Disposal


A mailbox has recently been installed in the trash drop off area.  If you are currently utilizing the trash drop off on Sundays from 8 am - 12 noon, we are asking that you deposit a trash ticket or $5.00 per bag in the mailbox prior to depositing your trash in the dumpsters.  We appreciate your cooperation and hope that we can continue to provide trash drop off on the honor system to ensure the safety of our staff and residents. Refuse tickets are available at the office for $5.00. If you have any questions regarding this program, please contact the office.


Indian Rocks Gym

The Indian Rocks gym is located in the building beside the clubhouse (old meeting hall).  If you would like to obtain a key card for the gym, they are available at the Indian Rocks office. There is a $10.00 yearly key fee and you will need to sign a release and a gym rules acknowledgement (below).

Indian Rocks Recycling Program

Recycling is available to all property owners.The single stream recycling bin is located behind the maintenance building and is open on Sundays from 8 am - 12 pm.
